It`s time to present my new Project. The Y-Town Secret Agent Here a picture of the parts i used to build it. Part List - VP Alu tuning parts full set. :mad3: - Futaba HV 157 Servo - Dual Micromamba Pro - Team Brood Team Editon 30T KR Type R/T - CC Bec 10A at 7.4V - Futaba 4PKs Radio - Y-Town Secret Agent Chassie - Lunsford Titanium Links Rear Axle completed: Front Axle Completed, ( i want to Try the new Futaba HV157 Servo, its Brushless and 37KG/7.4V and really fast :wink3: ) I would say it`s not a light Crawler but i think if it`s setup right it will be sick :yes3: This is the clearance at ride High, but i think i will lower it to 85mm, but the overall high with body is the Same like my 2011 Juice. The weight with fully Loaded DH pro comp, and 56g on each rear wheel is at 2750g :blerp3: Tomorrow i will do my first test at the Crawler-Halle.ch and i will do some reports.
pfffff...... I'm sure it never work !!! send it to me :blerp3: :blerp3: :blerp3: just curious to see how you feel w/ this fatty rig :tadaa3:
belle machine , je suis curieux de la voir en action ! Par contre merci , pour m avoir décomplexé au niveau du poids de mon xr10 avec mes dernieres modif et avant son régime il pese 2715 g ....
I think when i build my XR with Plastic not with the VP axle halts i can loos about 80g per axle an when i ditch out the rear weight like my 2011 Rig i will be at 2600g RTR fully loaded, but the Test today was not bad. I will do some Test drives and try different Setups. Next weekend i will testing this rig on the First Wintercomp in Germany at crawlerkeller.de. and i think i can bring a Movie back home :yes3: And i will come to BIG 2012 with this Rig to drive with some French Friends thats sure :yeah3:
It was around 2400-2600g but with 2 Frontaxles and no VP axle Halfs. I think i can droop the weight of this car to the same weight, but a havier rig is easier to control in Comp situations.
sorry but sometime it s difficult for me to understand english, so you think that s better to have a heavier rig in comp ?
For me its easier to handle a Rig around 2500g because its more stable in difficult situatioins. But leight Rigs can do some nice Stuff but in Comps you don`t have much situations you need this. e.g. At the Utah statecomp in Nov. i Run my 2011 Rig with Knuckleweights and DH procomp with 3slugs. and it performs like never before. ( finished at 17Th with a -3 :mad3: ) Here a pic of the setup i run: ( 2650g)
Only the VP mainweight ( arround 90g i think) I run the DH procomp with 330 hub and DHII with the 460 Hub
are you sure, Fred? This thing is fat (> 2'400 gramms), ugly (has a lexan body :mad3: ) and like Dude said, it would never ever working fine :mdr3: :mdr3: :mdr3: :blerp3:
