:yeah3: c'est ça. Et toutes les images sont multilingual :rir3: Here we go ahead; the last steps: I did the rest yesterday evening, had some nice guys in the Crawler-Halle; Manu, Farmertom and a couple of new Crawler guys; was a funny evening with tonns of fun and the first rollout of my new Berg 2012... Front gear case stock: 47 gramms and after some milling, drilling and after a couple of hours: 33 grams; 14 gramms left :wink3: then the tubes; Stock: 85 gramms :mad3: and with the D-Lux Parts; the longer tube in alu; the rest in black Delrin; I like the Link mounts very, very much... 51 gramms; that means 34 gramms left again... all the internal gears are the same as in the rear axle, so I have no story about that; I mounted the servo (7950) with the D-Lux Delrin servo mount; great stuff; the titanium tierod will be replaced, either the VP Standard knuckles; I'm not sure yet if I'll go my way with some XR stuff or with VP HC zero Ackerann some work around the batterie tray; Rowdy is producing a nice one; but I had only the XR version and this is going at the wrong side for bergs; and I have more space than a XR between my lower links (Berg 130 mm, XR 111 mm), so I can mount my battery (Dualsky 3S 800 mAh 45C) 90 degrees turned and the weight is a bit closer to the motor. I find a solution with a small carbon plate. Look :intell3: the carbon plate was glued, thats more than strong enough... then I did some preparings for the panels; I cutted some mask stickers with my plotter and can go ahead with the paint job... with the shocks I'll go a different way then 2011; the 2011 SCX alu shocks are working great, but I always had a mess with the leakings and so I'll go again with the TRY Big Bores in alu; the mods are well know by everybody, so I just show the pieces; the spings are Asso, I just painted them (don't like pink, neither orange at my Crawler). the limiting is also well known; it's a Berg an it's a BJ V4.2 now I can go on; the new battery tray is working... so things run their way, and I just thromb in the electronics for getting play with my guys: Caster is working great; I tested first with the sedonas; don't like them on bergs, they are my tires, if nothing else works fine; but I weighted this wheels a littlebit, so they were the right choice for the rollout without knuckleweights... I'm happy so far, the weight is under 5 lbs (2'222 gramms) with LiPo and RTR; and with the Sedona Setup some driving... tonns of fun so there is some work to do, but the new axles are bringing fun regards Dani
sorry, don't understand ... :jecpa3:    I'll show you my new truck when it'll be finished but as truck are never finished ...
:mdr3: :yes3: No, there is no vid yet; just made some fine tuning at the Panels, the front axle and at the balance today. Tomorrow I'll drive some lipos and will try different tires, weights and shock oils/springs; still a long way to go, I'm happy to have the Crawler Hall now, makes things easier... Regards Dani
Why now? You aren't before? ..... :blerp3: :mdr3: :mdr3: God! it was hard to follow you in 2011 it seems to be harder in 2012 . :hein3: PS: note i don't talk about the secret agent :cht3: :cht3:     :ang3: :ang3: :ang3: :ang3:
Non, parce que j'attend le version Carbon; et pour commencer j'ai reçu un Special "especial" :blerp3: Presque normal... mais un peu plus... :rir3: Je faire le Motorama US Indoor Comp le fin du Février et le Shamrock Showdown Mid Mars avec le Special; et après j'ai la version Carbon; j'espere... @Fred, est-ce-que tu as vu le Rig sur ma photo, le petit, en arriere? :intell3:
So, after crawling some lipos in the Crawler-Halle and after some set-up changes (changed oil in the shocks and new springs in the rear, changed ESC's (new Mamba Micro Pros) gave them a new place directly beyond the lipo, I tested some new foam setups yesterday and for the upcoming Crawlerkeller comp it seems to be best for me, driving shaved Sedonas with CI Dualstage (soft inner / medium outer). The rig ist working good, I'm happy so far and I can give away my "old" blue Rig from 2011; if there is any interesst, PM me. Some pix and vids are coming soon... Regards dani
Some news, guys; First comp, first win; unfortunately for my rig only :inkoi3: I attend the first comp of the year, the Crawlerkeller Winter Comp; cause one of the Crawlerkeller Teamdrivers had actually no rig, I lend him mines to go; and he won :mad3: :yeah3: Ok, he is the owner of the crawlerkeller and knows every inch of these rocks very well... And I saw that my rig isn't working that bad... I was on 5th place, Farmertom was 4th with his new UGC Viper XR10 and Manus "Fatty agent" was 6th. There where 18 drivers. So we where happy with the results so far. Pix: and some nice wheels... regards Dani
sure, still in my cam :mdr3: First I have to check my rig and make some (small) setup changes, clean it and make some maintenance for beeing prepared to all the upcoming practice sessions in the crawler-halle. Will cut and edit it this evening, I hope. Thanks guys, it was fun :yeah3: Regs Dani
